Improved transit service is coming to Wesbrook Place

This summer, the new road improvements along Wesbrook Mall south of Wesbrook Place will be completed. Once the new road is operational, TransLink and UBC will be co-operating to introduce transit service along the new road, and through Wesbrook Village.

The #41 bus will be running along this route. It will provide service for Wesbrook Place residents and businesses, enabling passengers to have direct and frequent access to transit. Westbound buses will connect with other regional routes including B-Line express buses at the UBC Transit Terminal. Eastbound buses will travel along 41st Avenue to Metrotown, and will connect with Canada Line at Cambie Street and the Expo and Millenium Lines at Metrotown, as well as connecting to B-Line rapid buses and other regional services.

Bus stops are proposed to be located along Wesbrook Mall in the centre of Wesbrook Village. Information sessions hosted by TransLink and UBC will be held this summer to provide further details. The bus service is expected to be operational later this year.
