Second Annual Holiday Market Returns to Wesbrook Village November 28
Wesbrook Village is Celebrating the Season with Local Makers, Family-Friendly Events, and Neighbourhood Spirit.
UBC Properties Trust is pleased to present the second annual Wesbrook Village Holiday Market, returning to Norman MacKenzie Square to once again bring together residents, visitors, and local businesses in a vibrant celebration of community and seasonal festivities.
Taking place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from November 28 to December 21, the holiday market will transform the heart of Wesbrook Village into a welcoming hub of artisan vendors, festive décor, and lively holiday spirit. Market hours are Fridays from 3pm to 9pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 7pm. Admission is free for all visitors and will feature live musical performances.
To officially launch the holiday season, a tree lighting ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 28. This year’s ceremony includes a special community highlight. Nakeisha, age 10, whose winning tree-naming contest entry ‘Dr. Evergreen McTwinkle, PhD (Festive Studies)’ was selected from dozens of creative submissions. She will have the honour of illuminating the tree and unveiling the name to the public. The Holiday Market also features a Winter Fair December 12-14 which will expand the festivities.
Market-goers can explore a wide range of local artisan vendors offering unique, handcrafted goods ideal for holiday gifting or seasonal treats. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy warm beverages and delicious bites from nearby cafés, eateries and commercial tenants. Guests are also reminded to bring reusable bags to support sustainability efforts.
