Symphony
A symphony is a harmony of musical notes from many different instruments that, when blended together, create a masterpiece that resonates with the soul.
Symphony, a UBC faculty and staff rental building, is designed to resonate with residents through its ensemble of amenities, features, and unit types. Symphony has 157 studio to 4-bedroom units. It is one of a 3-building project that takes the spot for the largest residential project in our portfolio with a total of 515 units.
Symphony is nestled in the southeast corner of the Wesbrook Place neighbourhood, on Wesbrook Mall just before Binning Rd. Behind the 3 buildings sits a brand new park, providing access to the network of greenways connecting other neighbourhood parks as well as the adjacent forest, Pacific Spirit Regional Park.
Symphony steps down to four storeys on the side next to the park to provide a more seamless visual connection to it. On top of this section sits a green rooftop terrace, complete with a BBQ and plenty of seating. With no shortage of outdoor gathering spaces to foster connections among neighbours, there is a shared courtyard amidst the three buildings that will include a terrace, picnic benches and other seating, a covered deck, lawn area, and a children’s play area. The courtyard will spill out into the park, providing residents with a direct, nature-forward connection to the neighbourhood.
