UBC Tennis Centre
Located west of the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Stadium lies the UBC Tennis Centre, the only public indoor tennis facility in Vancouver.
It has four indoor leisure courts, four indoor tournament courts, one outdoor leisure court and stadium seating. It includes administrative offices, change rooms, a multi-purpose athletic space, an integrated viewing area, a concession, and a social space connected to the courts.
Along with various stakeholders, we worked to secure approvals, determine the needs of the user group, and ensure the project was completed on time and on budget.
This new and improved building supports all levels of tennis players.
