The build out of UBC Okanagan Campus Master Plan is program-driven and several studies have been undertaken regarding the associated space requirements as well as the “phasing in” of priority needs.

Since UBC Okanagan was established in July 2005, construction has been completed on the Arts and Sciences 3rd-floor expansion projects. Further space was required to accommodate the anticipated number of arts and science students. The Arts & Science Building was added to complete the creation of the science precinct.
